"You never let anyone go." That's what my friend Charlie told me today right before he kissed me. He's right. I can't seem to sever ties between me and my old boyfriends/flings/failures at love. So, for my own sanity, I'm going to write down my 'boys' names here to at least sort them out.

1. Charlie. One of my closest friends and confidants, he's talked me out of boyfriends and break-ups. An all around sweet guy that never asked me out, but we've kissed quite a few times. He also makes out with my old roommate, though, and I'm pretty sure he's still hung up on an ex. Strike out.

2. Matt. We dated freshman year and it was highly competive at everything. We're both a wreck and insecure, but enjoy a challenge. He calls me the female version of him since we both have so many issues in dating. He's the only one that really knows how to make me cry because sometimes he's just a flat out a-hole. But after dating two of his friends, we became friends. His is the most severe (and only) love/hate relationship I've ever had.

3. Doug. We were mad for each other in highschool and then he went off into the military and things crashed and burned pretty fast. He's recently come back into my life, but I'm not sure where our friendship stands. We've grown up and apart.

4. Joseph. Matt's B.F.F. (he actually warned Joe off me). He and I aren't dating, but we hang out all the time, talk every night, and he's convinced he's going to marry me. I'm not so sure.

5. Moss. My heart-throb for a full year that I'm just over. Freshly over. Prone to relapse and rebound. But we didn't even date, that's the terrible part. Which makes me a pathetic loser, at least in my eyes.

6. Chris. Met at a bar. Have had two random flings. Count him as my rebound.

7. Chris N. An old high school teacher of mine who I've remained friends with. I'm hear he's head over heels for me, but I don't believe it.

8. Ermes. I met him in a tattoo parlor and we've gone on several dates. He moved away and now I'm left with writing letters to him. He's so sweet and lovable and intelligent. I really enjoy his company. A lot.

9. Dave. I'd date him if I was back home. But I'm not.

That's everyone I can think of right now, save for two that are fairly new and don't deserve mention yet.
